Afghanistan Open University (AOU) is seeking an active and professional English teacher with the following qualifications:

– 🎓 Master’s degree in English Language / English Literature
– 🇬🇧 Excellent command of the English language
– 🗣️ Ability to speak Pashto
– 💼 Active, responsible, and highly motivated
– 🤝 Strong communication and teamwork skills

💰 Salary: Based on AOU’s salary payment policy and according to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and merit.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address various learning styles to ensure comprehensive English language education.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress regularly through assignments, tests, and class participation, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Employ diverse teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance classroom engagement and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance, and prepare reports as required by the institution.
• Facilitate a positive classroom environment that encourages student interaction, respect, and motivation.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and improve teaching methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic staff to contribute to curriculum development and institutional goals.
• Support students outside the classroom through advising, tutoring, and mentoring to promote academic and personal growth.
